Choosing the right Villas Site

Since the Villas network offers more than one website to advertise your home on, it is time for you to think about which site is best for your needs. We currently have two sites that advertise vacation homes in Florida as well as a site underway that advertises globally. Below are some things to consider.

Last Minute Villas – www.lastminutevillas.net –This site advertises homes all over Florida with a regional divide set between the Gulf Coast and the Orlando-Kissimmee area. The site has been alive since 2000 and has a few hundred homes. Last Minute Villas produces the most leads of our sites, but the vacationer interest is spread out over the entire state of Florida.

Orlando Villa Owners – www.orlandovillaowners.com —This site advertises homes only in the Orlando-Kissimmee area of Florida (near Disney World). Since this area is such a hotspot, this site caters to vacationers that are already certain they intend to visit Orlando.

How much time do you have to respond to enquiries? You may not have thought about this yet, but responding to potential clients via email can become a huge project every day. Some of our members receive dozens of email enquiries every single day, and the time needed to analyze and respond to them can become daunting. Of our sites, Last Minute Villas produces a larger volume of leads but the leads are less focused (in geography); Orlando Villa Owners produces less leads but the leads are specifically for the Orlando area.

If your home is located along the Gulf Coast you should choose Last Minute Villas. If your home is in the Orlando area, you must weigh your business plan against the results you will likely get from your listing: if you have plenty of spare time to devote to responding to emails and don’t mind drawing visitors to your home who may not have your specific area in mind, you might consider listing your home on Last Minute Villas. If, however, your home is in Orlando but you do not have the time to try and pull in undecided vacationers, you might consider Orlando Villa Owners.
